I firmly believe that hobbies tell you more about a person than their resume ever could.

So if you're curious about who I am outside of work, projects, and the occasional identity crisis, here's a glimpse into the things I genuinely enjoy.

Gaming

At the moment, I'm completely obsessed with Cyberpunk 2077. And by "playing the game," I mean doing absolutely everything except the main story. I've spent an unreasonable amount of time completing side quests, NCPD scanners, gigs, and basically any activity that allows me to stay in Night City for just a little longer. At this point, I'm actively avoiding the main quest because I know finishing it means saying goodbye. I'm not ready for that kind of commitment. I like games that make me feel immersed in a world. The kind where you forget you're sitting in your room because you're too busy pretending you're a merc with questionable life choices.

Books

When I'm not exploring Night City, I'm usually lost in a fictional world somewhere else.

I'm currently working my way through the final book in the Once Upon a Broken Heart trilogy and already have Caraval lined up as my next read. My TBR list continues to grow faster than I can read, which feels like a universal reader experience at this point.

Every now and then, I also join local book club sesh where we spend weekends reading outdoors. There's something incredibly comforting about sitting quietly with a book while surrounded by people doing exactly the same thing.

It's one of my favourite ways to slow down!

Binge Watching

I love binge watching. Maybe a little too much. I'm currently keeping up with My Royal Nemesis, but honestly, my watchlist is all over the place. One day I'm watching a K-drama, the next day it's a random thriller, documentary, animated film, or comfort movie I've already seen ten times. That said, if there's one genre that will always win me over, it's a good rom-com or chick flick. Give me witty banter, accidental encounters, a happy ending, and I'm sold.

Sports

Recently, I've been spending more time on the court. I enjoy playing pickleball and have recently started learning tennis as well. It's still very much a work in progress, but I'm having fun with it. I like that sports give me a reason to step away from screens, move around, and challenge myself in a completely different way. Plus, it's nice to occasionally touch grass.

And if you've made it this far, thank you for reading.

Now if you'll excuse me, Night City isn't going to save itself.
